Officers searching for a missing Bournemouth woman are appealing for help from the public to find her.

A neighbour reported on Saturday 4 May 2019 that Sally McGrath, 75, had not been seen at her home in Cavendish Road since Tuesday 16 April 2019.

Dorset Police has carried out a number of enquiries in an attempt to establish Sally’s whereabouts but no sightings of her since that date have been reported.

Sally is described as white, around five feet four inches tall and of medium build with short, dark, curly hair.

Detective Inspector Andy Roberts, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been carrying out a number of enquiries to try and locate Sally but these have so far proved unsuccessful. It is out of character for her to be away from home for so long and we are becoming concerned for her welfare.

“I am appealing for anyone who has information as to where Sally is, or who sees a woman matching the description given, to contact us.

“We have also so far been unable to identify any family members who may have knowledge of Sally’s whereabouts or be able to assist our investigation. I would ask any family members to please make contact with us.

“Finally, I would urge Sally if she sees this appeal to please get in touch as we just want to ensure that you are safe and well.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Sally’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55190067248.
