Rockley Watersports, which has bases in Poole Harbour, the Midlands and France, has been announced as a brand- new partner of the Poole Harbour Boat Show (PHBS) and will be providing a host of free activities for visitors to the Boat Show.

The fifth annual Poole Harbour Boat Show, in association with Sunseeker International, runs from 7th – 9th June. With over 32,000 people in attendance in 2018 the Show, organised by Poole Harbour Commissioners (PHC), continues to be the biggest-ever, FREE to attend Boat Show on the south coast.

PHBS Marketing Manager Tracy Payne advised, “We are feeling incredibly lucky to have Rockley Watersports on board. The Boat Show prides itself on not just being a ‘free to attend’ show but also providing a diverse and fun mix of free activities for visitors to trial and experience.  The Boat Show’s theme is about getting people ‘on the water’, particularly younger people, and our partnership with Rockley very much helps to achieve this objective.

“Rockley will be providing ‘on the water’ taster sessions, including kayaks, paddle boards and dinghies.  There will be so much for kids to do and Rockley’s involvement provides an extra element to the PHBS.  Their activities will be located at the east end of the show, opposite The Thistle Hotel. We would urge families to mark the date for the Poole Harbour Boat Show in their diaries and come along and enjoy a fabulous fun time!”

Rockley Watersports Managing Director Pip Woods said, “The Poole Harbour Boat Show is a fabulous event which we are very supportive of. As a Company, we are very keen that as many individuals – children and adults have the opportunity to experience water activities, develop new skills, challenge themselves and potentially develop a passion for a new sport – always under the supervision of our fully qualified RYA Instructors. Whilst being a great day out for families, the Show also perfectly showcases all that Rockley can offer to youngsters and adults”

The Poole Harbour Boat Show is being supported by Sunseeker International, Sibbett Gregory, Coleman Marine Insurance, Conker Spirit, Elite Signs, Greenslade Pleasure Boats, PKF Francis Clark, Lester Aldridge, British Marine Wessex, MS Amlin, WQI Marine, Brittany Ferries and media partners Bournemouth Daily Echo and Wave 105.

The show will open daily from 10am – 6pm, Friday 7th – Sunday 9th June. For further details visit: pooleharbourboatshow.co.uk.
