ROPED IN – Yarns from Bridport’s Past

Story Traders have been inspired by Bridport Museum’s archived photographs to write and perform tales based on the town’s rope industry. Images from 1880’s to 1950 set the scene for the story telling.

All characters in this performance are fictitious and any resemblance to real persons living or dead, is purely coincidental. Artistic license has been taken with the photographs to provide a fertile ground for the imaginations of the storytellers.

This live storytelling event is taking place in Bridport on the 10th of May. You can expect poetry and tales of romance, intrigue and a rampaging bull.

Venue is The Stable, behind the Bull Hotel, 34 East Street, Bridport. Admission Free. Doors at 7pm for 7.30 start.
