Officers searching for a man missing in Swanage are appealing for information from the public to help find him.

Dorset Police received a report at 8.10am on Tuesday 11 February 2020 of concern for the welfare of 35-year-old Daniel Peay. There is information to suggest he may be in the Old Harry Rocks area.

He is described as around six feet two inches tall with short, dark blond hair, a full beard and a nose piercing. He was wearing an orange Puffa-style jacket and grey tracksuit bottoms.

Officers are currently carrying out searches, assisted by HM Coastguard.

Chief Inspector Steve Yeoman, of Dorset Police, said: “We are concerned for Daniel’s welfare as he has been very upset recently.

“We are keen to locate him as soon as possible to make sure he is all right.

“I am appealing to anyone with information as to his whereabouts, or who sees a man matching the description given, to please contact us immediately.

“I would also like to make a direct plea to Daniel if you see this to please contact us or your family so we can ensure you are OK.”
