Anyone who has watched an episode of Impractical Jokers can see just how absurd it would be to have the main driving force re policy decisions etc as Focus Groups. That Labour do this as their main driver under Starmer & Evans is THE perfect example of their completely terrible political instincts, awful political judgement & total lack of ideas, identity & conviction.
UK Labour is now a Party run by People willing to abstain on potential torture, rape & destroying of Trade Union members, while offering the soul of the Party on a plate to disinterested billionaires, suspends more Jewish members than anyone else-while absurdly, insultingly, claiming to tackle Antisemitism, re-admits allies before the results of already-watered-down, hardly ‘independent‘ reports are even published, pays out hundreds of thousands against our own legal advice, completely abandons the Palestinian People despite official Party policy, breaks the law, plp standing orders, Labour’s own rules, Labour’s disciplinary panel decisions, our own legal advice (again), EHRC guidelines…
…A Party that literally bans the ability to vote no confidence, bans democracy internally, bans discussion, drags the Party into massive debts, offers money-based tiered membership, faces multiple lawsuits due to the aforementioned, loses tens of thousands of members, alienates and deeply upsets-many who have subsequently left-Black, Muslim, Asian, Kashmiri, Jewish, Trans, Disabled, Young members…all while being behind in the polls to literally the worst PM & government in history-moving towards 150,000 deaths, and with most of the media & commentariat on your side!!!, the plp on your side, getting major calls wrong, going against the Unions, losing lots of Union funding etc etc.
All of this with 95% of the public being unaware and most members being unaware of most of the aforementioned. By any objective measurement this is a complete & utter disaster. It is truly unforgivable and incredibly incompetent & unprofessional. It is the direct consequence of giving impunity to incompetency, and no accountability ever being placed on the shoulders of these People. Even when it is there in writing, in their own words. Even then they are protected and remain in position. Actually, several have even been promoted!! Until this gaggle of unbelievably-lacking-in-any-self-awareness-at-all, genuinely, dangerously incompetent, arrogant, genuinely awful human beings-many of them known as-and I kid you not-‘moderates’, face consequences for their actions, behaviour and complete lack of basic skills, then the Tories will reign forever.
Labour Party members cannot back this. The vast majority don’t. The amount of members, many of which voted for Starmer, who have left or are leaving in floods of tears, mentally broken, poor health as a direct consequence, feeling bullied, feeling abused (many local parties and branches are also run by this brutal culture), feeling targeted based on their culture, faith and/or skin colour, feeling distraught. Way too many members are feeling completely ignored, not represented at all and treated with complete contempt for having the audacity to spend money they often cannot afford, and hours of their time, mental & physical health to try and get their abusers elected. All while the leadership literally lie compulsively, and tear up every pledge they officially signed up to & chuck it back in the faces of members via articles or interviews in The S*n, Daily/Sunday Mail, Telegraph etc. All with the protection & enabling of the media. While saying it’s the members & former leader who are to blame….
