Weymouth BID will be hosting a Levy Payers Forum Meeting on Tuesday 13thJune 2017 at the

Royal Dorset Yacht Club from 12 noon – 07.30pm.

The Directors of Weymouth BID are holding the Forum to enable Weymouth Levy Payers to meet with the Board to discuss the BID’s current plans and set up together with an opportunity to look at the future.

The Forum will run from 12 noon allowing people to drop in throughout the afternoon and early evening than at one set time. All Weymouth businesses are welcome in addition to current levy payers.

The Forum will also provide an opportunity for comment on the recent survey sent out to current levy payers asking for their views on the BID renewal and what should be in the new Weymouth BID business plan.

Steve Newstead, Weymouth BID Chair said “ We will be asking levy payers who attend the Forum if they would like to complete an application form to become a member of Weymouth BID Ltd.  This is already available to levy payers but it was felt useful to encourage this at the meeting where we can discuss the importance of this in more detail.”

Information will be available on many of the BID projects and work that the BID does to promote the Town and its use of the We are Weymouth branding.

The Board has recently had expressions of interest from business owners to become Directors of the Weymouth BID. This is an encouraging sign and the Board are pleased to be welcome new directors who will help strengthen the Board and its role when starting the Weymouth BID renewal process.
