Officers investigating the theft of Tinkerbell the cat in Bournemouth are issuing CCTV images of the suspect.

At around 11.55pm on Monday 1 July 2019 a man was seen to walk to the entrance of Super Clean on Wimborne Road in Winton, pick up Tinkerbell from outside the front door and walk away with her.

She is described as tortoiseshell and is three years old. She was not wearing a collar and is not microchipped.

Her owner has made enquiries with local animal organisations, including the RSCPA and vets, but Tinkerbell has not been located.

Police Community Support Investigator Jared Sharman, of Dorset Police, said: “Tinkerbell’s owner has been left very upset and she is desperate to find her.

“As part of my investigations I have obtained CCTV images of a suspect and I am appealing to anyone who knows the identity of this man to please contact Dorset Police.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone who might know where Tinkerbell is.”
