Appeal following assault of boy in Blandford that leads to fractured nose

Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a teenage boy was assaulted in Blandford.

At around 9.40pm on Saturday 12 January 2018 an altercation occurred between the 17-year-old victim and a man reportedly known to him near to the Crown and Anchor pub on West Street. The offender pushed the victim before repeatedly punching him in the face.

The victim sustained a fractured nose and swelling around his left eye.

Police Constable Ally James, of Blandford police, said: “As part of my investigations I am appealing to anyone who either witnessed the incident or has any relevant information to please contact Dorset Police.”
