Officers searching for a man who went missing from Poole are pleased to say he has been found safe and well.

Mark Nightingale, aged 47 and from Bournemouth, was last seen in the Canford Cliffs area at around 12.30pm on Wednesday 3 October 2018.

He was located in the Winchester area.

Officers searching for a man who went missing from Poole are appealing for help from the public to find him.

Mark Nightingale, aged 47 and from Bournemouth, was last seen in the Canford Cliffs area at around 12.30pm on Wednesday 3 October 2018.

He is described as white, five feet nine inches tall with short blond hair. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, black jeans and brown shoes. He is known to often wear sunglasses.

Chief Inspector Jim Beashel, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand that Mark has been very upset recently and so we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“We have been carrying out various enquiries to locate him since the report and are now appealing to anyone who has information as to his whereabouts, or who sees a man matching his description, to contact police immediately.

“I would also like to make a direct plea to Mark to contact us as we want to ensure you are safe and well.”
