The discovery was made at around 6pm today, Thursday 10 May 2018, by specialist search teams below cliffs near to Thorncombe Beacon.

Kevin, aged 43 and of Crewkerne in Somerset, was last seen on the morning of Tuesday 8 May 2018 when he left his home address.

Chief Inspector Rob Chalkley, of Dorset Police, said: “Although the body has yet to be formally identified, we believe it to be that of Kevin.

“His family have been updated of the discovery and are being supported by officers at this extremely difficult time.

“We do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.”
