Officers investigating a report of a theft from Lidl on Portland are issuing CCTV images of two people they would like to speak to.

At 4.14pm on Wednesday 11 December 2019 a man and woman entered Lidl on Hamm Beach Road and selected two flat screen TVs along with a number of toys and other items worth approximately £340.

They then tried to leave with the trolley full of items, but it became stuck. Taking the goods from the trolley, they got into a dark-coloured Ford and left without paying.

Sergeant Carmel Ryan, of Dorset Police, said: “Following enquiries into this incident, I have obtained CCTV images of two people I would like to speak to.

“I would urge anyone with information about their identity to please get in touch.”
