The Dorset indie film festival is an upcoming Short Film Festival in it’s second year based in Portland, Dorset.

Showcasing international film talent in a number of categories, the festival’s aim is to increase awareness of film art in Dorset and explore the capabilities of today’s film students and the future of the industry.

The team have received over 150 films from all over the world and have selected eighteen to be showcased at the film festival, the judging panel have also agreed on a best film award which will be given out at the end of the night.

We have a strict age limit of 15+ due to some of the films content, you may be asked for ID if you look under 15

There will be a bar at the event selling alcoholic beverages and soft drinks, if you wish to buy an alcoholic beverage you may be asked for ID if you look under 18.

The film festival will be held at the Royal Manor Theatre in Portland, 138A Fortuneswell, DT5 1LT
