Officers searching for a woman who went missing in Bournemouth are appealing for help from the public to find her.

Katarzyna Zych, aged 37, was last seen in the town centre on Saturday 8 December 2018. She was reported missing to Dorset Police at around 8.45pm on Sunday 16 December 2018.

She is a Polish national of no fixed abode and has links to Croydon in London.

Katarzyna is described as white, five feet two inches tall and of heavy build with brown curly hair that is shaved on the left hand side and longer on the right hand side. She has tattoos on her left hand, neck and left leg and was last seen wearing jeans and Converse trainers.

Detective Inspector Andy Bell, of Dorset Police, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned due to the length of time since the last confirmed sighting of Katarzyna. It is completely out of character for her to go missing in this way and we want to make sure she is alright.

“We have been carrying out various enquiries to locate her, including searches in the Bournemouth area and liaising with colleagues in the Metropolitan Police to carry out checks of locations she has links to in London.

“I am appealing to anyone who has any information as to Katarzyna’s whereabouts, or who sees a woman matching her description, to contact us immediately.

“I would also urge Katarzyna if you see this appeal to contact us as we want to ensure you are safe and well.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Katarzyna’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting incident number 16:392.
