INDECENT EXPOSURE IN PUDDLETOWN – WITNESS APPEAL

Police in Dorchester investigating an indecent exposure incident in Puddletown are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

 At 8.20pm on Saturday 20 February 2016, Dorset Police received reports of a cyclist standing on the grass verge between the B3142 junction and the A354 exposing himself to oncoming traffic.

The offender is described as white, aged in his late 30s, tall and of slim build with light-coloured beard or stubble. He was wearing a cycle helmet and a tight-fitting florescent green or yellow cycle top.

Police Constable James Curtis, of Dorchester police, said: “I am appealing to any motorists who may have been in the area of the A354 on Saturday evening and saw a man matching the description given to please call me on 101.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone who may know the identity of the man involved.”

 

Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 20:353. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
