IT Support 365, the Portland based IT company, have warned that criminal cyber-attacks are continuing to rise. This is after the release of a report from the National Cyber Security Centre.

The report states that businesses face a growing threat from ransomware, data breaches and theft from cloud storage, an area many businesses believe is secure.

“Criminals are launching more online attacks on UK businesses than ever before,” claims the report.

The NCSC, was set up two years ago, after concerns about potential attacks on UK institutions and businesses.

Said James Bull, Director of IT Support 365 “There’s no doubt that attacks are on the rise. We advise businesses to be extra vigilant. Never click on anything unless you are sure it’s from the source it claims. We even know of businesses that have plugged infected memory sticks into their computer.”
