Officers investigating a road traffic collision in Poole are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.

At around 6.15pm on Tuesday 3 March 2020 a collision occurred on Pearson Avenue at the junction with Ashley Road involving a blue Vauxhall Corsa and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian – a man aged in his 50s – sustained injuries to his head, neck and leg. His injuries are described as serious and he remains in hospital receiving treatment.

The driver of the Vauxhall was uninjured.

Police Constable Adam Carr, of Poole police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was travelling in the area at the time and witnessed the collision to please get in touch.

“I would also like to hear from any motorists who may have captured anything relevant on dashcam footage.”
