Officers are investigating a serious road traffic collision near Burton Bradstock and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

The single-vehicle collision on Cliff Road was reported to police at 12.09pm on Sunday 23 April 2023. It involved a motorcycle, ridden by a man in his 60s.

He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, which are believed to be life-threatening.

A road closure is in place and motorists are asked to please avoid the area.

Police Sergeant Mark Burton, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are investigating what happened and I am appealing for any witnesses to the incident itself or the moments leading up to it to please come forward.

“Also, I am keen to hear from any motorists who were travelling in the area with a dashcam fitted to their vehicle and may have captured something of relevance.

“Finally, we would like to thank motorists affected by the road closure for their patience as emergency services attend the incident and officers are conducting an investigation of the scene.”
