Gary Glitter, real name Paul Gadd, was caught on tape at a halfway house for inmates asking how to browse the web on a smartphone without being seen.

In 2015, Glitter—real name Paul Gadd—was sentenced to 16 years in prison for sexual offences against a minor under the age of 13.

He was under observation after his release in February.

He was required to abide by stringent bail conditions, which included donning a tag and alerting authorities if he starts dating someone who is the parent of an underage child.

Glitter has a shocking history of looking for web photographs of child assault.

He was discovered in 1997 with 4,000 horrifying images on his laptop.

After being found guilty in 2015 of historical sexual abuse of females under the age of 13 in the 1970s and 1980s, he was granted a licence and released.
