Officers searching for missing Weymouth man Michael Feilder are pleased to confirm he has been found safe and well.

Michael, aged 56, was reported missing having last been seen at 8.30am on Wednesday 25 April 2018.

He has now been located in Weymouth.

Michael Feilder, 56, was reportedly last seen at 8.30am today, Wednesday 25 April 2018, at Lanehouse Surgery in Ludlow Road and is believed to have left in a distressed state. Checks have been carried out in the local area and at his home in Abbotsbury Road but Michael has not been found. Searches remain ongoing today, including the NPAS helicopter.

He is described as white, of average height and build, with a short dark beard and dark hair. It is possible he is wearing a multi-coloured hat.

Inspector Matt Chutter, of Dorset Police, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Michael as we believe he is feeling very upset.

“I would urge anyone who has seen Michael or a man matching the description given to please contact Dorset Police immediately.

“Finally, if Michael sees this appeal I would ask him to please make contact with us – we and your family are very worried about you.”
