Police Very Concerned for Missing Man in Poole

Officers searching for missing man David in Poole are pleased to confirm he has been found.

The 84-year-old was reported missing, having left an address in the town during the early hours of Monday, 4 May 2026.

Following searches by officers, he has now been located.

We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.

Officers searching for a missing man in Poole are appealing for information from the public to help find him.

David, aged 84, is understood to have left an address in Tower Road at around 2.10am on Monday 4 May 2026.

He is described a white, around five feet seven inches tall and of slim build with white hair. He wears glasses and was normally dresses smartly.

Inspector Robin Morgan, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand David is confused easily so we are concerned for his welfare and are carrying out searches to try and locate him.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to please contact us immediately.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to David’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police online or by calling 999, quoting incident number 4:88.
