Officers searching for missing Portland woman Alison Annetts are pleased to confirm she has been found safe.

The 48-year-old was reported missing having last been seen at her home address at 11.30am on Sunday 15 September 2019.

Following searches by officers, she has been located in the Poole area.

We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.

 

Officers searching for a missing woman from Portland are appealing for help from the public to find her.

Alison Annetts, 48, was last seen at her home in Coronation Road at 11.30am on Sunday 15 September 2019. She was reported missing to Dorset Police at 10.57pm.

She is described as white, five feet five inches tall and of slim to medium build. She has short blonde hair and wears glasses. She has left on foot and has not taken her handbag with her.

Chief Inspector Lindsay Dudfield, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand Alison has been upset recently and we are keen to locate her as soon as possible to make sure she is safe and well.

“We have been carrying out searches in the Portland and Weymouth areas but these have so far not been successful. I would urge anyone with information as to Alison’s whereabouts, or who sees a woman matching the description given, to please contact police immediately.

“I would also like to make a direct plea to Alison if you see this appeal to please contact us or your family as we just want to ensure you are OK.”
