Public appeal to find missing man from Poole

Officers searching for missing Poole man Brian Collins are pleased to confirm he has been located.

Brian, aged 74, had been reported missing having last been seen at an address in the town at around 1.45pm today, Thursday 3 January 2019.

He has now been located in the Poole area.

We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.

 

Officers are appealing for help from the public to find a man who has gone missing in Poole.

Brian Collins, aged 74, was last seen at an address in St. Brelades Avenue at approximately 1.45pm today, Thursday 3 January 2019.

He is described as white, six feet three inches tall with grey hair. He was wearing a black coat, navy trousers and brown shoes.

Chief Inspector Andy Edwards, of Dorset Police, said: “Brian is understood to have been upset recently so we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“If you see a man matching the description given, please get in touch immediately. We are making every effort to locate him and are currently carrying out a number of searches in the surrounding areas.

“I would also make a direct plea to Brian that if he sees this appeal to please contact us as we want to ensure you are safe and well.”
