Hundreds of thousands, no millions of years of evolution and then this.
Where do we go from here? Back to the lake I fear.
I’ve just read about someone calling in to a popular radio station: ‘I didn’t vote for Jeremy Corbyn because he wants to get rid of Foodbanks, and I need my Foodbank.’
I’m not sure where to start.

same as the woman from Leigh, why she voted Tory for a change, but Torys have been in Govt for ten years, 'not round here they havnt' she replied. As you say where to start.

However this analysis makes a lot of sense:
Sadly, this makes perfect sense in a way & highlights a real problem. When you're desperate, it is easy to identify with the hand that feeds you. It's true that Corbyn wanted to do away with food banks- by helping to create a society where they were no longer needed. 1/2

But this involves a lot of steps in thought to get get there, something which a lot of desperate people don't have the means to do. Hence, the more the Tories destroy the fabric of society, they harder it is for people to think & imagine another possible society. 2/2
