15 Days in clay was started in 2003 by Janna Edwards with a grant from ‘Awards For All’

It is a remarkable project based at Holton Lee near Poole. The initial group met for 15 days over 15 weeks, hence the name. The project has grown over the years to four days a week, with over 40 adults enjoying the creative processes of hand building clay techniques. Supporting the project is a current team of eleven dedicated volunteers who make the project possible.

Speaking of everyone involved with the project Janna Edwards said;

“I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart everyone who has been part of 15 days over the past 15 years, but particularly all our wonderful artists and volunteers. You have enabled the creation and survival of something very special that has made such a positive difference to so many lives. I could never have achieved it without you all, thank you. ”

15 Days in Clay extends a warm welcome to the private view on Saturday 23rd February. The show will be formally opened at 2:00 pm by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset, Mr Angus Campbell.
