The Labour Party and movement always has, and always will, lead the way fighting for equal rights and opportunities for women.
From the 20th century to this day, women of the Labour movement and the Labour Party have shattered glass ceilings and secured victories for women across the country – from making it illegal to pay women less than men to better protections for mums in work.
Some of these women are heroes on whose shoulders we stand.
