Another great night of comedy lined up !

Saturday June 24this the date for our next great comedy club night and as it’s “Flaming June” we have some hot acts lined up for you to enjoy – don’t lose your cool, get your tickets now !

Our headliner is the amazing Richard Morton – described as “Newcastle’s finest export since the famous brown ale”, Richard has nailed the twin talents of musicianship and comedy into one perfectly suited package.

This livewire Geordie comic is full of surprises and manic energy, bounding around the stage like an overgrown child on a massive sugar rush. A former winner of Time Out Comedian of the Year, Richard Morton’s amiable manner belies a razor sharp talent and with some acutely witty and well-defined observations, he tackles a plethora of situations in gags, tales, and his hilarious (and occasionally risqué) songs. No subject matter is safe from being put to a tune.

Opening the night we have local comedy star, Adam Money !   Adam is the first person to appear twice at our little club – in 2015 he had a middle spot, and I remember the headliner saying “Who is this guy? Why haven’t I heard of him?”

Well, he is back, bringing his high energy style to bear on our audience – Adam rants and raves about his life, you’ll hear about anything from being burgled to having to put up with Posh Spice !

We have excellent support in the middle too, with the wonderful Athena Kugblenu bringing her thought-provoking jokes with an edgy sting, and the short and sharp observations on the idiocy of modern life from another local talent, Neil Braeman.

Non-members of The RBL are welcome. Doors open at 7pm for an 8pm start. There’s free (after 6pm) car parking close by and a full bar service for those not driving – what more could you want for a great night of fun and laughter in the centre of Wimborne.
The last few nights have been packed out, and we’ve even had to turn people away, so get your tickets now !
