Officers investigating a fail-to-stop collision in Beaminster are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.

A collision occurred at around 6.30pm on Saturday 18 November 2023 in The Square involving a black Toyota Yaris and a dark silver Land Rover.

The young male driver of the Land Rover got out of his vehicle and asked if the Toyota driver was OK. He then said he would move his vehicle, but it is reported that he drove off toward Bridport without returning and did not leave any details.

Police Constable Dan White, of Bridport police, said: “I am carrying out an investigation and would ask witnesses, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to please come forward.

“Also, I am appealing to the driver of the Land Rover to please get in touch so we can take your account of what happened.”
