Officers searching for missing Poole woman Christina Viola are pleased to confirm she has been found safe.

Christina was reported missing having last been seen at around 4.30pm on Saturday 11 June 2022.

Following searches by officers, she has now been located.

We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.

Officers are appealing for information from the public to help in their search for a missing Poole woman.

Christina Viola, aged 89, was reported missing having last been seen leaving an address in the Parkstone area on foot at around 4.30pm on Saturday 11 June 2022.

She is described as being around five feet tall and of slim build with short grey hair and wears glasses. Christina was last seen wearing a light-coloured cardigan, beige trousers and brown shoes and was carrying a light pink handbag.

Inspector Tracy Santoni, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand Christina is confused easily so we are concerned for her welfare and are carrying out searches to try and locate her as soon as possible.

“We also understand she may have travelled on a bus and are making enquiries with local bus companies.

“I would urge anyone with information as to Christina’s whereabouts, or who has seen a woman matching the description given, to please contact us immediately.

“Finally, I would like to appeal directly to Christina if you see this – please make contact with us or your family and let us know where you are as we just want to make sure you are all right.”
