Officers are asking for the public’s help to find a man who has gone missing from Blandford.

Andrew Budden, 39, left his work in Blandford at around 2pm on Thursday 5 September 2019 and was last seen in Blandford town centre at around 3.30pm the same day. He has not returned to his home address in Walpole Road in Bournemouth or attended work as expected on Friday 6 September.

He was reported missing at 11.38pm on Thursday 5 September and enquiries have been underway in a bid to find Andrew.

He is described as white, five feet 11 inches tall, of slim build and with long curly hair tied back. He wears glasses and was last seen wearing black trousers, a grey Bristol Maid branded top and beige work boots. His blue Hyundai I30 with the registration HD09 DNJ is missing. He also has access to a small inflatable dingy, which he carries in the boot of his car.

Inspector David Parr, of Dorset Police, said: “Andrew’s disappearance is completely out of character. He requires daily medication and it is not known if he has this with him. Due to the passage of time that Andrew has been missing we are very concerned for him and we need to locate him to ensure he is safe and well.

“I would urge anyone who has seen Andrew, his car or a man matching the description given to please call Dorset Police urgently.

“Finally, if Andrew sees this appeal I would ask him to please contact us or your family as we all just want to make sure you are alright.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Andrew’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55190140286.
