CCTV appeal following handbag theft in Bournemouth

Officers investigating the theft of a handbag at a store in Bournemouth are issuing a CCTV image of the suspect.

Shortly before 9am on Friday 9 November 2018 a man entered a staff area at the Poundland store at the Sovereign Centre in Boscombe and stole a member of staff’s handbag, which contained their wallet and mobile phone, before leaving the shop.

Police Constable Sarah Carpenter, of Dorset Police, said: “We have obtained CCTV of the suspect and have made enquiries to identify him.

“We have so far been unsuccessful and I am now appealing to members of the public for anyone with information as to his identity to contact us.”
