Many rumours have persisted over the decades about Cliff Richard (real name: Harry Webb), but none have ever been supported by concrete evidence. The closest we got to accusations being seriously investigated was in 2014.
Sexual Abuse Allegations:
In 2014, Cliff Richard was investigated by the police regarding historical sexual abuse allegations. The investigation stemmed from claims made by an individual concerning events that allegedly occurred in the 1980s. Richard was not charged with any offense and vehemently denied the allegations. The investigation was ultimately dropped due to insufficient evidence.
Privacy Lawsuit Against the BBC:
Following the 2014 police raid on his home in connection with the sexual abuse allegations, Cliff Richard sued the BBC and South Yorkshire Police for invasion of privacy. He claimed that the coverage of the police raid, which was broadcast live by the BBC, had seriously violated his privacy rights. Richard won the lawsuit against the BBC, receiving substantial damages.
Cliff Richard and many other prominent figures were listed as part of The Elm Tree Guest House pedophile ring.
However, the individual who made the claims was later convicted himself and is currently serving a long sentence.
One thing we can conclude from the above video is that whatever form of Christianity Cliff Richard belongs to, like many others, there is more validity and substance in a pinhead.
