They are asking people to sign a DNR to save family calling 999 and to protect family, friends and emergency responders from catching the virus if they try to perform CPR.

Read it and tell me I’ve got it wrong. Please!

Apparently the surgery have apologised.

  1. The Cwm Taf Health Board have apologised on behalf of the surgery, stating that the advice given in the letter is contrary to Board policy. I’m not aware that an apology has been issued by the Llynfi Surgery, although they might have done so locally.

  2. How was it the surgery felt it necessary to send out these letters? because it is not something that would be sent out ad lib. I strongly suspect that such DNIR (intubate or Resuscitate) instructions are being considered by Area Health Boards on the instructions from on high
