Stylish cars are the key to Friday nights as the South Coast’s premier car event returns to Poole Quay on 6 July with a new sponsor, English Ford.

Delivered by Bournemouth & Poole Tourism, the event will see Poole Quay play host to nine weeks of unique, themed car nights every Friday evening in July–August from 6– 9pm.

A major part of Poole’s Wave 105 summertime in the South events programmeQuay for my Car, sponsored by English Ford will see a great selection of popular car marques in the spotlight each week.

From TVR’s and Minis to Italian classics and Lotus 7s, there is something for every enthusiast.  Part of the Foray Motor Group, English Ford, will also host a new ‘Ford Fanatics’ night on 24 August for ST, RS and Mustang models.

The event offers free entry onto the quayside for specific car owners to park up and show off their vehicles against the stunning backdrop of the Quay and Poole Harbour.  Owners and spectators can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and are spoilt for choice with the Quay’s great selection of continental café bars, traditional pubs and fine dining restaurants.

Sam Black, Foray Group Marketing Manager, said: “We are delighted to be playing a part in Poole’s summer events programme.  Quay for my Car is such a well established event and one that is really loved by the car clubs, spectators and enthusiasts who support it.  Poole Quay offers the best seats in the house to a different marque each week, allowing them to show off their pride and joy.  There’s no better location in the UK for such a display.”

The must have spaces for these unique marques are allocated on a first come first served basis.
