I just had one of those very pleasant sounding Indian ladies ring our landline, concerned about my Microsoft computer, so i said to her ” I have heard about this scam and I am reporting it to the police”, and guess what, she hung up!
Don’t be taken in by these people be as abusive as you like, unfortunately i didn’t get the opportunity for that, but it IS a scam, they will tell you that you have a problem with your PC and then if you fall for their lies, it will cost you, so be aware!
