Brownsea Island peacock. This beautiful bird watching me, watching you, watching the kids.

Trying to get this beautiful bird to open up was quite funny. When they all went I just walked up to him, camera in hand, and I think he was just showing off. Then he just opened these beautiful feathers up to say ‘look at me’.

One thing that came to mind was what my dear nan used to say to me when we where kids ‘the devils eye’ that’s what she used to call the feathers but then she always had some in her vase at home.

Please feel free to share and give my Facebook page some love.
