The annual Together For Alzheimer’s 5k family walk and fun run in Wareham Forest next Sunday (November 19) reaches a special landmark this year.

“This is the tenth anniversary Together For Alzheimer’s and we’re hoping for a record turn out,” says local Pilates instructor and personal trainer Alex Eversden.
The family event is held at Birchwood Tourist Park at Coldharbour, near Wareham and starts from 10am.

“It’s always great fun and attracts lots of different participants from club runners to family walkers. All the money raised goes to The Alzheimer’s  Society, which does fantastic work in helping those affected by dementia as well as research into finding a cure for this devastating disease.

“It is a cause that’s close to my heart and touches the lives of so many so it would be wonderful if we could pull together and meet – or beat – our target of £1000. Any donation, however small, is greatly appreciated.”

Entry is just £10 for adults, £5 for children or £25 for a family and sponorship forms are available for all entrants.

For individual and family entry forms, sponsorship details or to donate contact Alex on 01929 553642, email [email protected] or visit www.getfitwithalex.co.uk.
Donations can also be made through justgiving.com/togetherforalzheimers2017.
