The Weymouth BID has been hosting great visitor events since its launch in 2013.

The We Are Weymouth website attracted over 1.8 million page views in 2017 and during January 2018 the website traffic is already up by an additional 45%.   One of the main aims of the Weymouth BID is to attract more people into Weymouth during the shoulder months and by hosting great events and a reason to visit it a great way to do this.   Events help to encourage visitors to stay in the town longer and increase spend.     Over 20 Weymouth businesses have shared their Half Term events and offers with We Are Weymouth under the WE LOVE WEYMOUTH promotion – many deals on meals, gifts and experiences throughout the town.

A very special dinosaur themed puzzle has been created for the school break. The Roarsome Dino Puzzle will launch on Saturday 10th February and will continue until Sunday 18th February.  It has been designed to encourage visitors to have a good look around the town centre by searching for 10 skeleton images which will put the Diplodocus dinosaur back together.   Each image is numbered and will need to be pieced together to rebuild the dinosaur, which will closely resemble Dippy the dinosaur on display at the Dorset County Museum.
