Detectives are appealing for help from members of the public to locate a wanted Weymouth man.

Michael Rossiter, aged 30, is wanted in connection with allegations of stalking and breaching a restraining order on Monday 20 August 2018 as well as for failing to attend Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 22 August for a number of offences including assault and criminal damage.

Michael is described as white, around five feet nine inches tall and of slim build with short brown hair and an unshaven face.

Detective Sergeant Mark Shields, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been carrying out a number of enquiries to locate Michael Rossiter and these efforts are ongoing.

“I am now releasing his image in the hope that someone will know of his whereabouts.

“While we have no information to suggest that he presents a direct risk to members of the public, I would urge anyone who sees Rossiter not to approach him but to immediately contact Dorset Police on 999.”

If you see Michael Rossiter you should dial 999 immediately. Anyone else with other information should call 101, quoting occurrence number 55180134722 or Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555 111.
