You felt it necessary to go and stuff your face at a sumptuous EU dinner while you discussed why the Purple Monster gave you such a drubbing at the polls, both locally and in the EU elections. That, in itself, shows how completely off-message you are with the UK public.
Here’s why you took such a hammering from ignorant peasants who think that UKIP will be any better for them than your toxic band of social marauders, Prime Minister:

Five MILLION children expected to have been condemned to a life of poverty by 2020. 1.4 MILLION (funny how that number keeps featuring in association with your government’s useless policies isn’t it?) extra children dropped into a life of hopelessness which will instil into them only the attitude of “why the hell should I bother?” because you and your overfed, overblown associates simply WILL. NOT. LEARN.
What’s the answer provided by your government? That the Universal Train Wreck, now deemed to have cost nothing so far thanks to Francis “Let’s Store Petrol In Our Kitchens” Maude’s Magic Re-set Button, will lift “up to 300,000 children out of poverty.”
No mention from the Flammable Fumbler about the balance of 1.1 MILLION children who will still sink into poverty, joining the 3.5 MILLION already trapped in it, you notice? This is because the “promotion of work” that your DWP cyphers keep trotting out is not going to work. In order for work to be promoted, jobs have to exist, and I’m not talking about the Workfare and zero-hours garbage that your government has been responsible for. I’m talking about proper jobs, paying living wages to take account of the 19% rise in food prices between 2007 and 2011 and the extra 5% VAT that your Chancellor introduced, and which don’t leave people still having to rely upon the employers’ subsidy known as Housing Benefit.
Maybe if you stopped shoving £40bn into every pointless war you can find to sling our troops into, for the sole benefit of your arms-dealing buddies, you might have the money to begin creating some of the jobs that are so urgently required by people living in your Breadline Britain, hmm?
The reason you took such a hammering at the polls, Prime Minister, is because we who are having to pay this socially disastrous price and others like it, thanks to the psychopath at the head of the DWP and your idiot Chancellor, are sick to the back teeth of hearing your minions parroting the same meaningless Party scripts over and over again while we see no improvement in our common lot.
Why I am even bothering to write and tell you this is a mystery to me, because neither you nor your flunkeys there ever have the good grace or common decency to acknowledge communications. The idea that members of the public might actually receive a constructive, or even well-considered, response to letters or emails borders on the realms of fantasy!
Maybe this lack of good manners is simply that you know that you actually have NO satisfactory answers to give…
