Bono and his U2 bandmates have gone from peacekeepers to violence enablers in this sad and embarrassing take on their once great song Pride (In the Name of Love). Where Bono could have just condemned violence, he chose to celebrate a state that has perpetrated violence for three quarters of a century by illegally occupying gerrymandered land and setting up an apartheid system.

Where U2 were once a youthful band writing about the hostilities in Ireland, they have now become out of touch and ignominious.

Has he ever condemned the murder and mahem of 75 years of occupation? Has he condemned the current genocide?

They call themselves Christians but the ‘wisdom of Christ’ appears to have abandoned them
