The Grove Hotel, a not-for-profit hotel situated on Bournemouth’s East Cliff, is inviting people with cancer and their loved ones to share the most cherished of moments. The charity run holiday retreat for cancer sufferers is opening its doors to couples of all ages, genders, races and sexual orientations who want to reaffirm their commitment to each other and renew their wedding vows.

The Grove Hotel is run by the local charity Macmillan Caring Locally. It offers people with cancer, along with their families, friends, and carers, a welcomed holiday by the sea. The award-winning establishment is now officiating wedding vow renewals to help couples commemorate significant marriage milestones and anniversaries.

Home to warm and comfortable facilities, The Grove Hotel is available for a wide variety of events. Couples can celebrate cherished wedding memories with their family and friends or enjoy a more intimate private affair at The Grove. Depending on the size of the party, the hotel can accommodate weddings in its Function Room or well-kept Garden. The unique hotel also provides its own catering.

Brenden Howard, The Grove Hotel Manager, said:

“We are determined to give cancer sufferers the opportunity to reaffirm their love and renew their vows. Creating wonderful memories which they can hold onto forever, we are pleased to be helping couples from all walks of life to celebrate their marriage in a safe environment. We have already witnessed some magical wedding renewals and we hope to host many more of these events here at The Grove.”
