Today at around 11.30 am my dog, who was on a lead in Alexandra Park in Poole, was attacked by the dog in the picture below. The owner – man in the picture – made no attempt to stop his dog from attacking my dog, nor to control his dog. Three people helped to pull the attacking dog off my dog who was screaming as she tried to get away.

The man was on a buggy and refused to give his name when his dog was returned to him. He then sped away on his buggy dragging his dog behind him. Passers by said they had seen this dog attack dogs before.

The attack was reported to Poole Dog Wardens who said they will not take any action as I could not give them the attacking dog owner’s name. Can you help? This is a dangerours, unpredictable dog with an unresponsible owner who cannot control his dog. Next time it might be a small child. Photo below.

If you know the identify of this man please contact the dog warden on 01202 261700
