Dorset and Somerset law firm Humphries Kirk was selected to feature in the Law Society’s video campaign to encourage consumers to use solicitors, fighting off stiff competition from 50 other law firms across the country.  The firm, which has offices in Bournemouth, Parkstone, Poole, Wareham, Swanage, Dorchester and Crewkerne as well as consulting rooms in Wimborne, Yeovil and London was chosen as one of a handful of firms to feature in the campaign.

Humphries Kirk partners Katharine Jones and Victoria Pearson and solicitor Laura Staples were interviewed by the Law Society on video to explain the processes behind using a solicitor for conveyancing, personal injury and making a will. The ‘Use a Professional. Use a Solicitor’ promotion was created to raise the profile of solicitors and drive consumers to the Law Society’s Find A Solicitor website.Katharine Jones commented: “We were delighted to be selected as part of the Law Society’s national campaign to answer common questions which we get from our clients on a day to day basis. In our areas of expertise we would always, where relevant, direct people towards seeking professional legal help.”

The Law Society of England and Wales was founded 1825, to raise the reputation of the profession by setting standards and ensuring good practice.
