Let us be perfectly clear. It was never about a ballroom.
The East Wing, as history records, was constructed in 1942. Its primary purpose was not architectural elegance but to disguise the simultaneous construction of an underground bunker and operations centre beneath it. Now, history is repeating itself. The lavish ballroom currently being built is a ruse. A decoy. A distraction to cover up the excavation of a new, improved presidential bunker.
This explains the suspicious haste and the deliberate circumvention of the National Monuments historical preservation channels. Submitting the true plans for scrutiny would have exposed the bunker’s existence to too many people. The architectural sleight of hand required to hide a massive subterranean facility would be impossible to disguise on paper, leaving a trail of clues for any expert to see.
But why the rush? The answer is all around us.
Donald Trump currently enjoys a pliant Congress, a manipulated Department of Justice, and a Supreme Court in his pocket. However, if midterm elections proceed next year, he is poised to lose his grip on Congress. His solution? Ensure the elections do not happen.
While presidential elections cannot be cancelled, the postponement of midterm elections is a different matter. Under the guise of a national emergency, such as “war,” such a move could be enacted if both chambers of Congress and the President all agree. Trump is actively working to create such an emergency.
A Military Purged and Tested
Central to this plan is the complete subjugation of the United States military. Under the command of Secretary of Defence Pete Hegseth, a chilling purge is underway. The Press and Congress have been barred from the Pentagon, and all staff have been forbidden from communicating with them.
The military leadership is being systematically cleansed of anyone with even a hint of disloyalty. Far-right influencers like Laura Loomer have become de facto personnel officers, with their accusations leading to firings. Multiple lie-detector tests have been administered, and service members are being discharged for mocking MAGA leaders on social media.
Most alarmingly, Trump and Hegseth are testing the limits of their officers’ obedience through a series of illegal and lethal orders. Naval ships have been commanded to fire upon and destroy boats in international waters, killing their occupants. This has now escalated to an airstrike.
The official line—that these are drug traffickers carrying fentanyl to America—is laughable to any expert. The vessels lack the fuel, are headed in the wrong direction towards Trinidad and Tobago, and the fentanyl trade route runs through Central America and Mexico. International law is being flouted: there is no boarding, no evidence collection, no identification of the dead, and no due process. The crimes they could be charged with do not carry the death penalty. This is not execution; it is murder.
This is a live-fire exercise in loyalty. The question is no longer if the military will follow illegal orders, but whom they will target next. Will they kill random foreigners? Will they kill immigrants on American soil? The final, terrifying question remains: Will they kill us?
The Enemy Within
Trump has already floated using American cities as “training grounds” for the military. He has attempted to send troops into several cities with Democratic mayors, explicitly stating he wanted them to use “full strength”—a clear euphemism for live ammunition on American citizens.
Simultaneously, domestic security forces are being armed to the teeth. Federal purchasing logs reveal that ICE spent over $71 million on “small arms, ordnance, and ordnance accessories” in a nine-month period. While they deny purchasing “guided missile warheads,” the codes for what was bought are ominously vague; “chemical weapons” could refer to tear gas or to something far worse.
The rhetoric from Trump, his cabinet, and Republican leaders escalates daily, painting all Democrats as the “enemy within,” “antifa terrorists,” and “Hamas.” This is a deliberate strategy to sow fear and hatred, creating a pretext for the Insurrection Act, which Trump threatens to invoke almost daily.
The Ultimate Goal
The events of January 6th were not an isolated incident. They were a last-ditch effort to stop the certification of an election loss. Trump has been planning to take and keep the presidency from the moment he lost in 2020. He is motivated by three things: personal power, wealth, and revenge. His supporters are merely pawns in a grander scheme to plunder and own America.
To achieve a permanent presidency, he must cancel next year’s midterm elections. For that, he needs a war. And that war will be here, on American soil. For such a conflict, he needs a proper bunker—not the 60-year-old relic he hid in before, but a lavish, opulent, huge bunker fit for a modern-day autocrat.
The ballroom above it will serve as a splendid Great Hall and throne room, a place to receive tributes from future supplicants in the new America he intends to build.

As if to confirm the entire affair, CBS News has just reported that “the bunker under the East Wing will also be upgraded,” with the White House Military Office handling the renovation. The price tag for this project has now skyrocketed to $300 million. The pieces of the puzzle are falling into place, and the picture they form is terrifying.
