A BBC investigation has found that nearly 20,000 men have fled the country illegally since the beginning of the war to avoid being drafted. A further 21,000 have tried to leave but were caught by the Ukrainian authorities. Many got out by crossing the border illegally; others paid substantial bribes to buy a medical exemption.

80,000 Ukrainian men have crossed over to Poland

According to Business Insider, in Poland alone, an estimated 80,000 men—the equivalent of 20 military brigades in Ukraine’s army—ages 18 to 60 who may have been eligible for military service entered the country between February 24, 2022 and August 31 this year, according to data from Poland’s Border Guard. The whereabouts of the men are not known, the Polish news outlet Rzeczpospolita reported.

It is alleged the bribery system has enabled the top mobilisation official to buy a $4.35 million villa in Marbella, on Spain’s Costa del Sol, The Times of London reported. He was arrested in July and is under investigation, the Kyiv Independent reported.

The conflict in Ukraine is very different from that which has been propagated in the corporate legacy media.

For those who prefer reality, this is a must watch:

The idea that Ukrainians want to remain and fight the Russians is a fallacy. A lie told by propagandists. Many Ukrainians have no desire to lose their lives in this conflict and will do anything they can to avoid it. It is easy for people in peaceful countries to condemn them. However, when they are confronted with their own politicians demanding that they die for someone else’s cause, things change very quickly. Ukraine is but one more example of tyranny being imposed on its population.

Be wary. Your time may be sooner than you think.
