This Friday 15 December, the fantastic CAPTAIN SKA <https://www.captainska.com> are releasing their new Christmas single “Sons and Daughters <https://www.facebook.com/ThePeoplesAssembly/videos/1637579149643302/>”, in collaboration with The People’s Assembly. All proceeds in the run up to Christmas will be split between the People’s Assembly and Food Banks Nationwide – directly helping those suffering most at the hands of the Tories and helping sustain a campaign for the alternative to austerity.
The new song is an attack on the Tory Government’s record but also brings a message of hope that a better world is possible, reflecting the big successes our movement has had over the last year.
Last June in the run up to the General Election we helped get Captain Ska’s Liar Liar <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxN1STgQXW8> to Number 4 in the UK charts, even though the BBC and all major commercial radio stations refused to play it. What better Christmas gift could we ask for, an anti-Tory song raising up the charts that helps boost all our campaigns so we can have a Tory free new year!
