Nidal Aboud, a member of “Christian National Assembly in the Holy Land”, was abducted yesterday during a nonviolent protest in front of Hadassa Hospital. Protestors were demanding the release of Samer Arbid who had been admitted to the hospital after his health rapidly deteriorated following savage torture and ill-treatment by officers of Israel’s security agency, the Shin Bet, while under interrogation. Samer, who was detained by Israeli Soldiers on September 25th, was subsequently admitted to the hospital with a pulmonary haemorrhage, several broken ribs, marks all over his body and severe kidney failure.
